The plane landed at the Kuala Lumpur airport after 2 hours. We passed through customs and went in a metro. Our hotel was really nice, it had a free pool table, the rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. That day it was raining so we stayed indoors and did nothing much, well I spent the most of the day playing pool.

The following day we explored the city a little bit, we visited the Petronas towers the 7th tallest building in the world. Most of it was a shopping mall and a food court (which we ate at). After visiting the towers we explored more of the city. You could really see how the technology was much more advanced in this country compare even to Thailand. There were so many shopping malls, we visited a few. They were all like ordinary and regular ones, phone stores, cloths, and the food courts. When it was about 7 we went to the Petronas towers for our tour to the top. Everybody was waiting outside by the fountains to see some show. Which there was a really cool fountain show. Then we started our tour to the top of the Petronas towers. Honestly the towers weren’t that interesting you were just standing in a tall building (even my dad didn’t like it, which is really something). As we were getting to the top I felt really sick (because I ate a really bad hot dog) my mom gave me a bag and when we got to the bottom I got sick in the bag. I got sick 2 more times.

Le jour suivant nous avons exploré la ville, nous sommes allés au centre aux Tours Jumelles Petronas, les plus hautes tours jumelées du monde (mais les 7ème en hauteur de toutes les tours). En fait c’est un mall sur 8 étages et le reste des bureaux. Nous avons mangé sur place. Nous avions du temps avant de pouvoir monter en haut des tours alors nous a vous continué notre exploration. Cette ville est bien plus développée que le reste de l’Asie même Bangkok, tout est bien agencé et la ville est relativement propre et bien organisée. Il y a beaucoup de mall, avec toujours plus ou moins les même magasins. Nous sommes revenus aux Tours Petronas pour la visite vers 19h00, comme nous étions un peu tôt, nous avons regardé le spectacle des fontaines avec la musique c’était très bien. Puis nous sommes montés voir les Tours, j’avoue que je n’ai pas trouvé ça super bien, peut être aussi parsec j’étais malade. Je n’ai pas digéré mon hot dog, pour une fois que je mangeais autre chose que la cuisine locale! J’étais vraiment pas bien. Heureusement ma mère a demandé un sac en plastic en haut, et j’ai vomi en arrivant en bas de l’ascenseur. Et beaucoup ç a aurait été pas très bien si je n’avais pas eu le sac. En fait j’ai vomi encore 2 fois après mais ça allait mieux.

The passing day I was a lot better. But we didn’t do much and I didn’t eat much, my parents let me rest. We went to the rooftop pool. As the day passed we went to the National Museum of Malaysia, and learn how they became a country. Malaysia has been influenced by these groups there are the Indians, the Chinese, and the Malays. We also visited the central market which wasn’t all that great. Then we saw china town it was okay the houses were like old time Chinese and there were selling fake goods. After coming back to the hotel with the metro we started packing our bags for the Cameron Highlands.

Le jour suivant, nous l’avons passé à l’hôtel je ne me sentais pas d’aller faire des visites. Nous avons passé la journée à la piscine sur le toit de l’hôtel. Comme j’allais mieux plus tard, nous avons visité le Musée d’histoire de la Malaisie. J’ai appris leurs traditions, par exemple le couteau qu’ils utilisent avec la lame comme une vague s’appelle un Kris, les costumes qu’ils portaient. Aussi, une part importante de leur culture est l’influence de leurs 3 importantes ethnies les Malais, les Indiens (d’Inde) et les Chinois, ces 3 groupes font la Malaisie. Après nous avons visité le marché central et China Town c’était juste ok. Puis nous sommes partis pour les Collines Cameron.
